Anon cuts stuff off
so I’m writing this as a poem

Dear Ana,
I’ve always wanted to tell you
you’ve helped me through so much
oddly enough
through introducing me to what helped you
I could go on about ‘A Softer World’
but that is you and Em’s baby both
so

The Muppets:
never before did I realize
the definition of the phrase
"Life Affirming"
until I began looking up muppets stuff
based on the beauty I saw on your blog

Ages ago
amidst what was then my biggest struggle
I found ‘Everyone Matters’
and that helped a ton

Now I feel worse than then
yet I’ve been listening to your Donnie playlist
and every time it gets to
‘No Business Like Show Business’
my mind sings along
and combats the imp of the perverse in my brain
with reminders that
the show must go on no matter what
and that helps me tons

And you help me tons
regardless of whether or not you realize it
