I Am NOT I Want

I feel like I shouldn’t crush on Hedwig
it makes my love for her
seem cheaper than it is
but maybe that’s because
I notice myself devaluing romantic love
at least in instances when I myself am involved
but Hedwig means more to me
than tumblr posts about how pretty she is
she is a slice of my soul I found in art
and that means so much more than
any crush terminology could possibly portray
